Meet Monica
Monica Wright
Monica Wright is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DAW of a New Day. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, she holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource and Medical Field Relations.
She is dedicated to helping others with compassion and close attention to the details that matter. Away from the organization, she enjoys reading, board games and time with her grandchildren.
Why we exist
A dignified, fulfilling life through every part of the journey.
We support people diagnosed with cancer with resources, fundraising and compassionate connection. That can include help with co-payments for medication and appointments, protein shakes and care packages during treatment and radiation, small monetary gifts when funds permit, and a listening ear for someone without a support system.
Our annual cancer awareness celebration makes room for survivors to share their stories and for loved ones to honor those they miss.
